Exhibition Banners for T/TAC
I was commissioned by Virginia Department of Education's Training and Technical Assistance Center (T/TAC) to design two large-size banners for their program campaign events. They wanted one banner with program introduction and another one without. And the banner's color scheme should be consistent with Virginia Tech branding (orange and maroon).

I took inspirations from T/TAC's logo and use contours from part of the geometric shape of the logo to frame images and compose the layouts.

Logo Badge for Historic Smithfield Plantation
This illustrative logo badge was designed for a 3D heritage project that focuses on a 3D digitization process of historic objects in the Historic Smithfield Plantation museum in Blacksburg, Virginia.

To reflect the history of the museum, a retro, flat illustration style was applied during the creation of the logo. A serif typeface was also chosen to bring a sense of history to the illustration.

Re-purposed
Packaging design
The concept for this repurposed project is to use exiting popcorn package box to make cardboard piggy bank in order to save coins. Specifically, a folding diagram of piggy bank is printed inside the package box and after eating up popcorns inside, consumers can tear the box open and cut the diagram off. Then, following a folding instruction, they will fold the diagram into a piggy bank to save coins.
